“Abuse of Discretion” Launch Contest

 I’m excited about the launch of my first Tessa Riley mystery, “Abuse of Discretion“, and I want you, my readers, to be excited as well. So, I’m delighted to announce the Abuse of Discretion launch contest, featuring some fun prizes, including an Amazon Kindle Touch.Here’s how the contest will work:

The contest begins today (Monday, November 4, 2011) and it will run until 1,000 readers have purchased copies of the book. I’ll be keeping track, and I’ll of course announce when we hit this goal. You can enter in any of the following ways:

  • Purchase a copy of Abuse of Discretion. Forward your purchase receipt to contest@tammycravit.com and you’ll be entered in the contest.
  • Post a review of the book on Amazon.com, CreateSpace, or Smashwords. Shoot an e-mail to contest@tammycravit.com letting me know where and how I can find your review, and you’ll be entered in the contest.
  • Post a review of the book on your blog or Web site. E-mail a link to the review to contest@tammycravit.com and you’ll be entered in the contest.

You can receive up to three entries in the contest, by doing all three of these things, but you’ll only get one contest entry for purchasing even if you buy multiple copies. When I receive your entries, I’ll also add you to my mailing list for future book releases and news. (I send out no more than an e-mail or two every month, and never spam or sell my list).

Once I reach the 2,500 purchases milestone, the contest will be closed, and I’ll draw the winners randomly from all entries received. Here’s what’s at stake:

  • Three entrants will receive $10 gift certificates to the e-book store of their choice (Amazon, Nook, Kobo)
  • Two entrants will each receive signed paper copies of Abuse of Discretion
  • One lucky grand prize winner will receive a brand new Kindle Touch eBook reader! (If you’d prefer the Kindle with the keyboard instead, that’s fine too.)
